Calculation method

Prayer times are calculated using the Hanafi juristic method with the University of Islamic Sciences, Karachi parameters (18°/18°) — the method most widely followed across India and the region. In Indonesia, we use the Kemenag (Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs) method — 20°/18° angles with the Shafi'i juristic method for Asr — matching each country's own convention rather than a single global default. Maghrib and Iftar times are always computed from the actual sunset at each mosque's coordinates, never from a fixed table.

Verification

Every jamaat (congregation) time on this site is either calculated using the method above, or verified— set directly by a mosque's administration. We label every time with its source. When a mosque's jamaat time is not yet confirmed, the page says so honestly rather than guessing.

Freshness

Pages show a real "last updated" timestamp reflecting when the underlying data actually changed — not when the page happened to render. Updates from mosque administrations are reflected as quickly as our indexing pipeline allows.
